Rihanna Digipak Analysis

When we was first asked to research into Digipaks we was set a task which was to pick an already existing Digipak and analyse it talking about how it appeals and attracts to certain audiences. I chose to analyse Rihanna's Digipak of her album 'Loud' I chose this because I felt that due to the colours , props and good use of close ups's it was very clear to interpret that it was more aimed towards the female genre and clearly reflects that she is from the pop genre, however it could also appeal to men as we see the colour red used very significantly therefore can relate to love and the sex appeal due to Rihanna's clear attractiveness.

When making this piece I was filmed in front of a green screen so that we could edit the image of the digipak onto the recording using final cut pro. I also managed to add text on to the bottom of this video so that people who are watching this can see what digipak i have analysed.
